Dr Anil K Xavier
MBBS, FRCP (UK), FRACP CONSULTANT NEPHROLOGIST
Dr Xavier is a specialist in Nephrology and General Medicine. After completing his primary medical degree in India he moved to the UK in 2002 where he completed his post graduate training .He has been a Consultant Nephrologist since 2011 and has worked both in the UK and Australia. He has obtained fellowships both of the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh, (FRCP UK) and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
Dr Xavier is currently employed as a Staff Specialist Nephrologist at GV Health, Shepparton and is keen on developing renal services locally for the community in partnership with St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. He is also an honorary lecturer at the Rural Clinical School, University of Melbourne.
Dr Xavier welcomes referrals for all conditions related to nephrology but has a special interest in chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, resistant hypertension, post renal transplant care and patients on haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
